This is truly a beautiful album. Its dreamy and not intrusive like you find in ambient, but it holds your attention and gives you something to move to like with trip-hop. The instrumentation is an absolute delight of piano, some upright bass and small appearances of horns and xylophone brought together by warm percussion.

Song: The Paramour

Punch is exactly what I look for in a hardcore band. They're loud and relentless, the vocals are wailed with driving force and anger (even better, the vocalist is a girl!) and they have a perfect sound of punk, thrash and powerviolence.

I can confidently say that Swung from the Branches is my favorite ambient album of all time. Its perfectly constructed for a listen from start to finish with a perfect tone of a nostalgic, melancholy haze. There are a handful of songs that are more dream pop oriented, which is absolutely grand to me.
I initially started listening to this guy because I saw him in a documentary about the connection of psychedelics and music. Checking him out, I am thoroughly impressed with his style, its an amazing blend of IDM, hip-hop, jazz, classical...etc basically a truely eclectic sound.
Completely aggressive punch-your-mother-in-the-face-and-fire type of grindcore. Vocals are beautifully brutal and instruments are insanely technical/spastic.
Artist: Inside the Beehive
Album: Drink Bleach; Live Forever
Song: Mothra
Genre: Mathcore/Grindcore
Matthewdavid produces a special kind of hip-hop that seems to flow from and within the third eye. His songs vary from bass heavy, bounceable tracks to completely mind-fucked ambient pieces, all seem heavily influenced from the psychonaut world.
Seriously, how sweet is that name? Their name lives up to the sound they deliver; an acid soaked shoegaze album that is insanely dreamy and makes your mind float away in complete bliss. A lot of it has to do with the reverb/distortion they use with the guitar. Perfect little EP to dream away to.
This band has a sound to them that is absolutely beautiful. They kind of remind me of The Ruby Suns since they have this nostalgic sound reminiscent of The Beach Boys, but they take this and turn it into a dreamy, uplifting sound which is always leaving me in a joyous state.
